The Soleus Air KY-80 portable air conditioner is a small room AC unit designed for areas around 200 square feet in size. It provides 8000 BTU of cooling power and is designed to run extremely efficiently. The Soleus Air KY-80 uses an eco-friendly refrigerant and has a host of programmable and automated functions so that you can leave the air conditioner to work worry-free.

The KY-80 is a very quiet air conditioner, making it great for use within the home or office. This can function both as a bedroom air conditioner or in lobbies, waiting rooms, storefronts, bakeries, restaurants, print shops, and more. The Soleus Air KY-80 is a good air conditioning solution for small spaces, seasonal heat, or those who want something mobile. It has a number of different operating modes and is very versatile in how it can function.

In Auto mode, the KY-80 will select an operating mode based on the ambient temperature. This allows you to have an extremely energy-efficient air conditioner that you do not have to monitor. It will help you save on energy costs!

This unit is tight.Runs very well with little noise and cools things down quick.The remote is high quality also. would recommend this one to you.It's light and fits about anywhere because the size of it is perfect.

While it cools the air just fine, the exhaust hose connections are very poorly designed. The exhaust tube just randomly drops off, filling the air with hot carbon dioxide. It dropped off while I was sleeping & my CO detector woke me, thankfully, if it wouldn't have been in my room I would have died. Very dangerous!
