Champion’s 3500-watt RV Ready generator features Dual Fuel, allowing the 224cc engine to run on either gasoline or propane. Featuring Volt Guard™ and Cold Start Technology, this unit includes a propane hose and provides up to 9 hours of run time on gasoline or 10.5 hours on propane.

Manufacturer refurbished units are guaranteed have less than 20 hours of use, and most have less than 3 hours. They are clean condition with occasional paint fading/scratching, but most look brand new. Units have minor issues that are fixed to the same strict standards of new units.  Each unit is fully tested on load bank for performance.  Life expectancy of this model with reasonable care is 3000-5000 hours. I had been thinking of getting a generator just in case one of Florida's hurricanes hit us again and we lost power. Had researched them and found the Champion Dual Fuel generator was the best. FactoryPure had the best price. I was a little concerned that it was refurbished but the price was so good. Ordered it and got it very quickly and it looks brand new. No scratches, nicks or dings anywhere. Wanted to use propane so hooked it up and pulled. Nothing happened. Tried a number of times and not start. Put a little gas in and it fired up on first pull. Put the propane back on and it fired up on first pull. I guess it just needed a little jump. Anyway, I plan to use propane because you can keep it and it doesn't get old like gas and was so pleased it started and so happy with the great price and timely delivery from FactoryPure. Now hoping no hurricanes hit but if they do I will be ready.

So glad I found this here!

I've done the first 5 hours of break-in using gasoline and changed the oil. Then I tried propane. Works great! Delivery was made with care so there wasn't a problem there either. It is quite heavy, so I'd recommend the wheel kit if you aren't up to customizing one yourself. Also - as far as noise; 68 decibels is not quiet but is to be expected. It's a good idea to think ahead of placement when running.
