works great
My new Drolet Austral lll stove is now installed and it is a beautiful thing. See the photo. I am still learning how to use it to keep the glass clean. The first three fires eliminated the new stove smells as it was breaking in. The stove produced great gradient heat and the glass remained clear to view the fire to provide a romantic warm experience. I added two convection-electric fans on the top to help circulate the heat in the event of power outages. It holds a fire 10 plus hours with outside temperatures below freezing, however I may have choked it down too much since the glass became smoked up but the fire was still bright through the glass. As I said, I am still learning. I am burning dry and well seasoned madrone wood that grows in our southern Oregon yard. It is hard and leaves very little ash. I really enjoy my stove.
