I should have bought a bigger one
I had generac 5500 for 20+ years had over 3000 hd hrs still good x has it now proud to have new 8000
There were a few screws missing for assembly. I called twice for these parts the first time That I called I was sent the wrong parts hopefully this time I will get the right ones.Otherwise I would’ve given you a five.
The unit is at a dealership to be torn apart to be fixed. It was flawed. I paid top dollar and I'll bend up with a refurbished generator.
Set up was simple, installed hands on carry-transport bars. Hooked up the battery cables. Put in the fresh new oil, started it up with the electric switch and turned right ON. I let it run for 20 minutes and then I let it cool down for at least an hour before I secured it. Glad I purchased it, now I have some peace of mind in case I ever need it. Don't forget to start it 1X every 30 days. GREAT MACHINE
