This Generac Air Cooled support pad weighs 44 lbs when purchased, making it extremely easy to install. When filled with water it weighs 330 lbs.  When the generator is secured with the stainless steel hardware (supplied) it weighs enough to meet code requirements up to 180 mph wind loading.  Each pad includes a unique gelling agent that, once water is added, forms a solidus gel. Optional ground and concrete anchors provide additional hurricane protection when needed. Will only work with Generac.

  • Has a water fill plug that is located on top of the pad. The water fill plug must be removed before filling, and replaced after the pad is filled.
  • Weighs 44 lbs. when empty and 330 lbs. when filled with water.
  • Hurricane rated up to 180 MPH winds
  • Includes corrosion-resistant stainless steel mounting hardware specific to the mounted generator model, as well as a product spec sheet, and engineering information with engineering stamp.

  • It takes approximately 35 gallons of water to fill the QwikPad® for Generators completely

So far so good.

I just set it yesterday. As long as you make sure that the site is level; it is very easy to set in place and add water. Added only 3 inches of water because of the freezing temperatures here in Vermont. Let you know more soon.

Worked ok but bolt pattern did not match my generator.Factory Pure shipped it to me seperate after it didnt arive with generator.Generic I guess but someone did not realize that it was not fit my generator! No worries wont need another one
