The generator was shipped fast and arrived on time. The box was undamaged but when I opened it the air breather housing was broken and the choke was bent over and would not work. Also the battery was dead and the charger was missing. Factorypure was very helpful and called Generac for the broken and missing parts. But when Generac only sent out a air breather cover and a charger. When I called Generac for the rest of the housing and let them know the battery would not hold a charge. They suggested I file a claim with the carrier or load it up and take it to a service center 50 miles away. So I just took the breather housing off, straightened the choke. Then used my glue gun on the housing. And I'm just using the pull cord for now.
My advice is don't buy the refurbished. I think Generac just repackaged it and sent it back out.
