Overview

FactoryPure (“FP” or “Our”) respects the privacy of the information we collect from our website visitors (“Users”) or those who purchase through FP (“Customers”) while operating the www.factorypure.com website or a subdomain of www.factorypure.com (collectively "Site").

FP may collect personally identifying information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, register to purchase on the Site, or subscribe to our newsletters.   Users may visit portions of our Site anonymously and FP will collect personally identifying information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.  Our Privacy Policy is guided by three fundamental principles:

  • We only ask you for personal information we need in order to provide you a service.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

The following privacy policy incorporates these goals and governs the manner in which FP collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from Users and Members of our Site.

Website Visitors

FP collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as:

  • your IP address;
  • the type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
  • your language preference;
  • the date and time you access our site;
  • the pages you visit; and
  • if you linked to our Web site from another Web site, the address of that Web site.

This information does not identify you personally.

FP’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how FP’s visitors the Site. From time to time, FP may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing information on trends in the usage of the website.

FP also collects potentially personally-identifying information for logged in users and for users leaving comments in our forums. FP only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to FP’s Sites choose to become Customers.  Customers of FP require FP to gather additional personally-identifying information.  Since being a Customer is a paid service, FP asks Customers to provide the necessary personal and financial information required to process those transactions. FP uses a Third-party credit card processor for fulfillment and does not retain or store the member’s financial information.

FP does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

How FP uses collected information

FP may collect and use Members personal information to:

  • improve customer service;
  • personalize user experience;
  • improve our Site; and
  • send periodic emails.

FP may use User or Customer email addresses to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User or Customer decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time a User or Customer would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, FP includes detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Aggregated Statistics

FP may collect (or use third-parties to collect) statistics about the behavior of visitors to its Site.  FP may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, FP does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

FP adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information stored on our Site.  Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

FP discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, board members and affiliated organizations that

     i       need to know that information in order to process it on FP’s behalf or to provide services available at FP’s websites, and

     ii       have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, board members and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using FP’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

FP may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. FP may share your information with these third parties for those limited.

FP will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, board members and affiliated organizations, as described above, FP discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when FP believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of FP, third parties or the public at large.

Disclosure to Third Parties

Service Providers

FP may share personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, fulfilling customer orders, providing customer service, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information.

Others

It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for FP to disclose your personal information. FP may also disclose information about you for purposes of national security, law enforcement or other issues of public importance.

FP may also disclose information about you if it is determined that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. FP uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the Site, and their website access preferences. FP visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Site, with the understanding that certain features of FP websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If FP, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that FP goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that may be transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of FP may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, FP may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in FP’s sole discretion. FP encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Interaction with Children

FP is not designed to be used by anyone under 18 years of age without adult supervision and the FP Terms of Use dictate that no one under 18 use FP without adult supervision.  If FP is made aware that it is in possession of any information on anyone under 13 years of age it will delete the information.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using FP, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
