Product Overview
The ABAC AB5-2180V4 two-stage air compressor pairs an 80-gallon vertical tank with a 5 HP motor for automotive, fabrication and farm applications. Its PAT 49 pump uses aluminum construction with cast iron cylinders to deliver 14.6 CFM at a maximum pressure of 175 PSI. The 230V single-phase motor includes a factory-fitted magnetic starter to help protect the motor and pressure switch from over-amping damage during repeated starts. An aluminum head, aftercooler and oversized flywheel support heat dissipation, moisture removal and pump cooling. An ASME tank with safety valves, a fully enclosed belt guard and start/stop pressure switch control round out the setup.
