Wish yall would send a new one that will work it did start but no power I n one know my money is tied to one

Well, it has been a while since my initial review. The local repair shop had performed the service and since then all is good. Repair shop said could have been bad gas or some particles in the line which clogged the carburetor. Runs great, quiet and I used this in another storm to run a portable window AC 10 BTU.

In the end, thanks to Factory Pure for excellent customer service and pushing on the manufacturer to remediate.

I purchased a new Atima AY2000i in June 2020. Due to COVID there were a lot of delays in shipping, but
Factory Pure kept sending me emails with updated status until I received the unit. Thanks

A major storm hit NJ in August and we lost power for 6 days. I setup the generator as per instructions,
pulled the cord and amazing. Easily started, ran great and very quiet. I used the generator on and off for
about 4 hours a day.

On the four day the generator would not start. After troubleshooting I found it leaking gas just when you
turned the fuel switch to on. Luckily it was not running and did not turn into a more serious event.
This is where the nightmare begins.

I contacted Factory Pure, explained the situation and they jumped on contacting Atima. However, it is
a company called ACS (in the US) which is a central call station for many generator companies.

Tania at Factory Pure is my representative and handling correspondence on my behalf.
First issue was finding a place which would service the generator.
I was being provided a few places but they were over 80 miles away!
I then had to hunt around and call local Yamaha centers, but even though "Yamaha" engine/carb inside,
they would not service the unit. Finally after two weeks of hunting around, a local "Small Engine Repair" place accepted the unit.

From experience, it was deemed a faulty carburetor. The company provided an invoice with both parts and
labor. Tania took this to ACS and discussed next steps.

She contacted me and said I was approved for labor and they will ship me the new carburetor.

It all seemed great until Tania received a check for labor and ACS contacted her and rescinded
on sending parts. I am not sure, but I believe ACS discusses the cases with Atima, and if so,
then Atima does not seem to be reputable and stand behind what they are selling.

It has been almost two months now and recently they agreed to have the local repair shop perform
a carburetor cleaning. If that does not work, provide a quote with a detailed diagnosis as to what
is the issue.

I have not proceeded yet, as bottom line, this is a manufacturer defect and the unit should
have just been exchanged. Especially when leaking gas out the carburetor.

Greatly appreciate Tania's outstanding customer service, who is still working to resolve this.
