The Austin Air HealthMate FR400 Filter is a replacement filter for Austin Air HealthMate HM-400 Air Purifier. HealthMate FR400 filter machine elliminates almost a 100% of airborne contaminants. It is recomended to replace the HEPA and carbon zeolite blend filter every 3-5 years. A large particle pre-filter is included as well.
Please Note: The black replacement filter is used with black, silver and midnight blue machines. The White filter is used with white and sandstone machines. Please choose the correct color for your machine.
The HealthMate FR400 Filter Stages
First Stage: The Permafilt Pre-filter removes particles that we can see such as dust, lint, hair, and pet dander.
Second Stage: The Medium Particle Pre-filter removes medium size particles such as mold, spores and pollen.
Third Stage: This step removes VOCs. Your air moves through 15 pounds of Activated Carbon and Zeolite. This gets rid of chemicals, gases, and fumes.
Fourth Stage: Using True Medical-Grade HEPA, the Healthmate Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns.
