This thing is a great Chipper. It really does handle 7" logs. Assembly took hours but instructions were good. When it tells you to use 2 people you should. Of course I tried putting a jack under it and it slipped, came down on my knee and gave me a massive bruise. Just way too heavy to do by yourself on that one step. It took a couple months to get but factory pure was always following up with me to see if I was ok waiting and I was because everyone was out of stock. All in all, I'm am very satisfied with the chipper and factory pure. 100% would buy from both companies again.
Very pleased with this chipper it's performance exceded out expectations. It was an easy build and bigbear power and purefactory are great at communicating . I have 35 acres of forest in western colorado and have put this through the test the elevation is 7500ft and it ran well no jetting required I gave it 5 stars
Product was delivered in a badly damaged crate. Driver knew it wouldn't be accepted so left without getting signature or even attempting to get one. FactoryPure did not offer a clear path forward for repair, replacement, return or other. They couldn't tell me which route was being pursued, only that they were waiting for a response from the manufacture. When I requested to conference call with all parties on the line I was told that calls are against policy.
Took a minute to assemble but the instructions were super clear and it was very easy. Machine works incredibly well, super powerful, only time will tell how every component holds up, but it seems to be very well built with heavy duty parts.
Love this chipper. I had great hopes with this purchase but there are a few issues that I want to comment on. This product arrived on a timely manner with no problems. However, upon further examination of parts, there were a few pieces of hardware missing. After one phone call these parts were resent, but with they arrived, the locking nuts needed to secure the bolts were not sent. This was corrected after another phone call. I finally received all parts and complete building this chipper. I found the instructions were vague at times and not really clear, yet we were able to work through it. You will need two people to build and hopefully with a mechanical mind. After about 8 hours of work we completed this beast. My first test, I have this to conclude. After about 3 hours of continued use, from everything from hard wood oak, cedar, and maple to pine, this chipper works well. NOT perfect, but well. It took most everything for the first 3 hours, then it started to bog down with the larger larger wood. I found this chipper loves long hard pieces but if putting them in sideways seemed to slow down the process, with hard wood.
Worth 4K? Yes. I would buy it again, even with these small issues. It will cut most everything, but there may be a learning process at first. Buy it, and Enjoy! I am!
This machine is very well built. It’s an incredible deal for the 34HP engine and 7inch diameter. Nothing else on the market comes close
