Very happy with this purchase. I had a very old pellet stove so this is a huge upgrade. I love all the safety features and settings. Follow the instructions for installation and cleaning/maintenance. I feel like the negative reviews I read before purchasing were essentially user error. It’s been a great machine for me.

I've had mine just over a year when it quit working. Tried to call the manufacturer for technical support. All they offer if you to fill out a ticket request and all they do is send an email with a video that does not work. FactoryPure was empathetic but since I did not have extended warranty there is nothing I can do. Trying to find someone to work on it but it's not easy. Spend more money and get a reliable stove!!!!

Stove traveled from North Carolina to California and arrived in perfect condition which was a surprise. I have fired up the stove outside for burn off and the stove works as it is supposed to work. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the stove and the operation,

I researched forever to find the biggest pellet stove insert possible at a reasonable price and kept coming back to this comfortbilt. Coming from a pellet stove that I had to manually light, got dirty quick and sucked down pellets, this was a sigh of relief. With the push of a button, this stove lights itself in a couple minutes and is very efficient with pellet use. It stays clean and tells you when it’s been running for 20 hours to remind you to vacuum the ashes. It came with an ash vacuum to quickly knock out that task. Our house is around 6500 sq/ft and I put this in the basement. Prior to temperatures getting below freezing, this kept the temperature up and the furnaces never needed to kick on to keep the temperature where it was set. Pretty impressive! The reason for 4 stars is I kept getting a “low temperature alarm” and the stove would shut down. After some research this was likely caused by the auto cleaning function set to run too long from the factory. This can be adjusted and seems to have fixed the problem. Comfortbilt has a whole write up on this so I’m not sure why they don’t set it correctly from the factory. The auger will sometimes squeal as well which is very obnoxious. Sometimes it runs quiet and sometimes it seems like it squeals on every rotation. The online solution is to put some graphite powder down where the auger is and run the stove. So far this has fixed the squealing. Again, not ideal that I had to work on a brand new stove to make it run properly. I’m very happy with the stove now that I’ve found a solution for the problems. Bring on the cold weather!

The stove is beautiful. Still haven't put in,but the shroud needs to be 7ins taller. Am going to try and have it redone .we pulled out a o clearance fireplace.
