Meantime, its footboard is 2" higher than the platform surface to keep your mattress away from sliding. By the way, the platform bed needs no box spring and the recommended thickness of the mattress is 8"-12".
- No More Wobbling or Squeaks: The bed consists of reinforced metal tubes and up to 12 wooden slats to build a wobble-free frame with a load capacity of 1763 lbs.
