I purchased the optional fresh air hook up for my new Drolet 1200 because it would screw right up to the stove. That was a nice fit and works fine but it comes with a cheap plastic vent that I could have bought elsewhere for 9-16 bucks…so I paid 95-100 bucks for that? I thought for sure for that price I would get an air control pipe included. Nope that was another 25 bucks (purchased elsewhere) Maybe I’m just old but that seems a bit excessive? But so far I like everything else.

Air Intake unit

The air intake unit came crushed. I'm waiting for a replacement from Drolet. I have no doubt that it will work just fine and that Drolet will send me a new one.
