And a great price
This review encompasses both the Generac generator and service from Factory Pure. The generator - was installed by a pro and that seemed to go well. We haven't had an outage yet (install was completed 3 days ago) so I can't provide more details. It seems well made and very functional.
We live in a rural area and there was an issue with delivery (the delivery company did not have a small enough truck). There was a fair amount of hassle and delay caused by this. The folks at Factory Pure were extremely helpful in getting the issue resolved and the generator delivered.
Not installed yet
I
Due to a somewhat poor packing job, the generator arrived in a damaged box which resulted in scratches on the front and top panels. The unit would not start after installed because one of the control wires had become unplugged during shipping. Battery kept saying low voltage. Electrician installing the unit finally did find the unplugged wire, and unit is working beautifully now. It was just an aggravating experience. Hoping to soon receive the new front and top panels from FacturyPure.
I would give 5 star rating had I have received it sooner. Website said fast shipping. Was almost 2 weeks just to ship(not fast). Every thing else was as advertised no problem to install and worked as expected. Yes a hurricane was approaching which caused the delay.
