Generac 70301 Guardian 9kW/8kW LP/NG WiFi Standby Generator with Smart Transfer Switch New

I installed this generator at a boutique business and it can handle the whole store including the air conditioning and all of the point of sales, it works amazing and it turns on automatically and less than 10 seconds and then it automatically turns it back off, very easy to install and program, I am so pleased I will be buying more in the future for other jobs, a few pointers to any future installers buy an ARC battery backup power strip for anything that you don't want to shut off within the 10 seconds or less that they're still powered like a computer or a point of sale, check the motor oil that it is full before you start I think it comes shipped just a little low on purpose, other than that awesome piece of equipment

I needed the 9KW output to allow me to power the most important appliances in my home in the event of an outage. Generac had this package which included the 100 amp transfer switch so I ordered it. When it arrived the crate and all packaging was very well designed and my generator and switch were in good condition. I installed the unit myself, which may not be for everyone, and it so happens the transfer switch breaker type takes the same as my Homeline panel so moving all the breakers on my "necessary" list was simple enough.
The design layout for the entering and leaving electrical cables, the gas line etc. is pretty good even though they are close together on the outside of the enclosure. My installation required that I locate the gas valve inside and change the valve over to LP GAS. I also purchased the cold weather oil filter heater as well as the battery heater just in case our winter is severe. Keep in mind the generator doesn't include a starting battery, however they provide instructions as to the type and size of battery needed, and I went to my local NAPA and bought mine.
The installation went well for me, and the test run passed with flying colors.
I am pleased with the quality of the unit, the enclosure is secure (lockable) and easy to "open up" for maintenance or service.
