I'm a retired welder and steel fabricator and I've looked for such a product for close work around the house and garage, and not finding one designed one "in my head" like my kind of people do, but happened to surf into this hand operate fork lift as I imagined it to be made, but before I bought the supplies was comfortable with the fact that this would serve my needs. I received it as advertised, assembled it in 20 minutes and have used it to lift and move a 250 pound snowblower attachment with ease.
The quality of the design, wheel bearings and swivels, lift winch, ease of operation, safety features, welding and even the paint job exceeded my expectations and I am glad I bought it.
My only suggestion to a buyer is to be aware that unlike a typical forklift like most of us are used to, the directional wheels are in the front and the rear are fixed, so maneuvering into real tight corners is a little cumbersome, kind of like "parallel parking". For such challenges a foot powered and leveraged set of rear castors for occasional use might be a valuable add-on option.
