Product Overview
The Grizzly G0602Z is a benchtop metal lathe built for small-scale machining, part making, threading, and repair work. With a 10-inch class swing and 22-inch distance between centers, it offers a practical balance of compact size and useful capacity for home shops, garages, and smaller workspaces.
This machine is designed for accurate, repeatable cutting with hardened and ground V-ways and a magnetically mounted X/Z-axis DRO that reads to 0.001 inch. Six spindle speeds from 150 to 2400 RPM, inch and metric threading capability, a thread dial, and spindle reverse make it well suited for turning shafts, bushings, model components, engine parts, and custom shop pieces.
A 1 HP single-phase motor and enclosed oil-bath gearbox support smooth operation, while the quick-locking tailstock, emergency stop button, chip tray, and backsplash guard add everyday convenience.
