Product Overview
The Grizzly G4003 is a full-size 12" x 36" gearhead metal lathe built for turning, facing, threading, and general metalworking. Its gearhead design lets you change spindle speeds quickly with front-mounted levers instead of moving belts or pulleys, helping keep work moving with less interruption.
With a 2 HP single-phase motor and nine spindle speeds from 70 to 1400 RPM, this lathe is equipped for a wide range of shop tasks. A quick-change gearbox supports fast left- and right-hand threading, while the hardened and ground cast-iron bed, threading dial, reverse switch on the carriage, and full-length splash guard add control and durability for regular use.
