The Grizzly G5690 quick-change tool post set is a piston-style tool post designed for metal lathes with a 12" to 14" swing. It makes tool changes faster and more convenient, helping reduce setup time during turning, boring, knurling, and parting operations.
Built for repeatable accuracy, the set is case-hardened with a black oxide finish, and its milled surfaces are hardened and precision ground for reliable performance. It includes five tool holders: turning, knurling/turning, parting, boring bar, and turning/boring, giving machinists a versatile setup for a wide range of common lathe tasks.
This set is well suited for machine shops, tool rooms, and serious hobbyists who want quicker tool swaps and consistent positioning on compatible lathes. A blank T-nut is included and must be machined to fit the specific lathe.
