Product Overview
The Grizzly G7946 is a 34-inch floor radial drill press built for versatile drilling in wood, plastic, fiberglass, composites, and up to 3/8-inch mild steel. Its radial design allows angled drilling, while the headstock can tilt and slide along the column for flexible positioning on larger or awkward workpieces.
A 1/2 HP motor drives five spindle speeds from 550 to 3000 RPM, giving you control for a wide range of materials and bit sizes. The keyed chuck accepts bits from 1/16 inch to 5/8 inch, and the 3-1/4 inch spindle travel with adjustable depth stop helps deliver accurate, repeatable results.
The cast-iron table is designed for stability and easy adjustment, with rack-and-pinion elevation, 360-degree swing, and left/right tilt.
