Product Overview
The Grizzly G8783 wood chuck is a 4-jaw chuck designed for holding round workpieces on compatible wood lathes with a 3/4" x 16 TPI spindle. It is especially well suited for bowl turning and other projects that require a secure, centered grip.
Its jaws can clamp round stock directly or expand into a recess turned in the back of the workpiece, giving turners flexible mounting options. A twist adjustment moves the jaws concentrically from 2" to 2-3/4" outside diameter for controlled, even positioning.
