The Grizzly H5939 Boring Head 18-piece R-8 set is a milling machine boring and facing tool package designed for accurate hole enlargement and internal machining. It includes a 2-inch boring head with 7/8"-20 mounting threads, an R-8 shank, and a fitted case for organized storage.
This set comes with nine carbide-tipped boring bars with 1/2-inch shanks and two facing tools with 3/16-inch square HSS cutting tools, giving machinists versatility for a range of boring and facing operations. The dial is graduated in .001-inch increments, with .050 inch per revolution and .025 inch actual motion for controlled, precise adjustment.
