Product Overview
The Grizzly T33009 is a 2-axis digital readout kit designed to add precise position tracking to a lathe. It includes the readout unit, mounting hardware, and two linear optical scales sized 7-7/8" and 43-5/16" for a custom installation on compatible machines.
Built to improve accuracy and repeatability, this DRO displays movement in mm or inches and supports useful machining functions such as pitch circle diameter, line hole positioning, inclined machining, radius work, shrinkage calculation, and error compensation. The sealed aluminum readout housing helps protect internal electronics from dust, fumes, and shop coolant exposure.
With 5μm resolution, repeatability to 2μm, and smooth scale movement supported by precision bearings, this system is well suited for machinists, fabricators, and serious hobby users who want faster setups and more confident manual lathe operation.
