As a business owner I understand the value of customer service. This company, does not. The Lifan Generator arrived. The instruction manual is poor at best. No troubleshooting guide so you are on your own if it does not operate properly. The onboard battery was dead but I could not charge it as the included charger was for something else. Contacted customer service 2.5 weeks ago and still have not received the proper charger. I charged the battery with my own charger. This past week used the generator (used for a RV air conditioner). Was hard to start when warm and stopped in the middle of the night with half a tank of fuel. Not sure the gas gauge is accurate. Friday evening turned the unit off properly and upon restart, the unit would run but would not get to "green light" functionality and therefore would not power the A/C. Took the unit 30 mins away and both the repair shops would not even look at it as that stated the brand is hard to get parts and they are expensive. We left our vacation early. Called customer service today and was on terminal hold for the guy that didn't ship replacement charger 2.5 weeks ago. I also purchased the extended warranty and looked into the closest service center; a mere 140 miles away! Complete frustrating mess and no one I have spoke to at the company cares. This is all unacceptable!
