the stater is battery powered which is weird bc if the battery runs out, then the heater wont start. also you have to let the air out of the valve before the heater will turn on, definitely not DIY model. even my plumber had a bit of issues getting it to work.
works well, takes a little tuning, but instillation was easy and efficiant , great price as well
I actually replaced another brand Tankless Water Heater with the Marey. The hardest part of the installation of the Marey was removing the existing heater. The videos that Marey provides showed me that I could do the install myself and it was true for me. The Tankless heater that I replace as was major name brand and it was really complicated to service and the replacement parts were really pricey. I was ready for a change in instead of another repair of my existing unit. Since I was replacing an existing unit nearly everything was already there so once I got the old unit out install the Marey was easy once I got the right length replacement flex hoses install. It started right up when I turned the gas and water back on and all I did after that was adjust the temperature setting. I wish I had found out about this product years ago.
