We love it!! Our unit was so loud it was concerning and embarrassing. Super loud at startup and shutdown. With the MicroAir Flex installed we no longer hear it at all. Can't wait to run it in the generator
I installed the MA Flex a couple of weeks ago and so far, so good. I mostly bought it to be able to run my 2 1/2Ton Heat Pump from my 12Kw generator in case of a utility power outage. Inrush current on that unit is right at 70 amps, which is above the capacity of the generator. With the MA Flex installed, startup/inrush is now at just under 18/19 amps.......problem solved. Other advantages are of course the a bit less electricity used (at startup), quieter startup, and most likely the compressor will last longer because of the easier starting. I did have to do a couple of changes in the programming since my unit had one of the CoreSense compressor modules, but overall, it was a pretty straight-forward install and one that I wish I had done before now. Thanks MA for a great product
Easy install. Works as advertised. Should help the unit live longer, and you can clearly tell the difference.
Easy to install and does what it supposed to do
Works very well. The unit hasn't had very many starts, but when it did it was much quiter. Didn't have that loud "Clunk" like it had previously.
Installed this Micro Air EasyStartFlex Home ACStarter myself. Its just that simple. In no why am I telling anyone they can do this. I used to work for a Hvac cpmpamy. This product works great. My Ac unit starts off very easy. It dropped down to 13 amps. Easy enogh to run my 9500 predator inverter generator and run my whole house. In the evrnt power goes out. There are great get yourself pne. Mine also has blue tooth and I can check status on my phpne.
