    • Oil lubricated, two stage cast iron pumps.
    • Pumps are either 2 cylinder V type or 3 cylinder radical configurations.
    • Single phase induction motors are available for all units. Three phase induction motors are also available on some commercial grade models.
    • 1/2" outlet ball valve and 1/4" drain ball valve on both 40 and 80 gal. vertical tanks.
    • All tanks are rated at 200 PSI, with ASME and CRN certified.
    • Units equipped without magnetic motor starter: Ideal for home and professional applications.
    • Units equipped with magnetic motor starter: Ideal for commercial applications.

    TE-5040V two stage 40 gallon 5hp upright air compressor

    This compressor is a joy to look at, and the craftsmanship is second to none. It's obvious that lots of attention to fit and finish were given to the welds and all. Not to mention it runs smoothly and considerably quieter than the 2 stage 5 hp 60 gallon upright air compressor it has replaced. Very pleased with this PUMA made in the USA air compressor and would highly recommend it to anyone running a small shop or for the DIY home mechanic. The entire transaction from purchase to delivery were flawless. And the unit itself was packaged so well with plastic and bubble wrap, wood pallets and wood braces that I don't believe it could possibly suffer any shipping damages.
