Product Overview
The Shop Fox W1680 is a 17-inch floor model drill press built for accurate, repeatable drilling in wood and light metal. With a 1 HP motor, 12 spindle speeds from 140 to 3050 RPM, and 3-1/4 inches of spindle travel, it offers the control needed for a wide range of shop tasks.
A 1/16-inch to 5/8-inch keyed chuck and MT3 spindle taper give it flexibility for standard drilling as well as larger direct-mount bits. The 14-inch cast-iron table swivels 360 degrees and tilts 90 degrees left or right, making it easier to handle angled and oversized workpieces.
Designed for cabinet shops, small machine shops, and serious home workshops, this floor drill press combines cast-iron construction, sealed ball bearings, and an adjustable depth stop for dependable everyday use. A built-in light and quick-adjust handles add convenience when precision matters.
