Product Overview
The Shop Fox W1702 is a 3 HP woodworking shaper built for edge profiling, raised panels, and the production of door stiles and rails. With reversible spindle speeds of 7,000 and 10,000 RPM, it gives woodworkers the flexibility to run a wide range of cutters for detailed shaping work.
This machine features a large precision-ground cast-iron table, a heavy split fence with independent adjustment, and 3 inches of spindle travel for accurate setup and control. Three included spindle sizes let it handle everything from small profile cutters to large panel cutters up to 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
Designed for serious hobbyists, custom cabinet shops, and professional woodworking environments, it combines stability, power, and versatility in one floor-standing unit.
