Product Overview
The Shop Fox W1843 is a 2" x 72" belt grinder, knife sander, and buffer built for shaping, sharpening, and finishing metal with speed and control. Designed especially for knife makers, it combines a cool-running abrasive belt with an extended buffing shaft for easy access during sanding and polishing.
This machine can be used along the platen, above the platen for freehand contouring, or against the 10" rubber-faced drive wheel for different grinding tasks. The belt arm tilts from 0-90 degrees, belt changes are quick, and tracking adjustment is simple, helping you move efficiently from rough shaping to fine finishing.
Powered by a 1 HP motor and built with a cast-iron body and ball bearing construction, it offers steady performance for demanding shop use.
