Product Overview
The South Bend SB1128 is a horizontal metal-cutting bandsaw built for professional shops, fabrication work, and demanding industrial use. With a 1 HP motor, variable blade speed, and a 7" x 9-3/8" rectangular cutting capacity, it is designed to handle a wide range of steel, tubing, bar stock, and other metal materials with consistent results.
Its swivel-mast design allows angled cuts up to 45° left and 60° right without moving the workpiece, helping improve accuracy and workflow. Features such as adjustable downfeed, a dual-position vise, double ball-bearing blade guides, and an adjustable work stop make it well suited for both one-off cuts and repeat production work.
A built-in cutting fluid system helps reduce heat and friction during operation, while the integrated stand and water pan support cleaner shop use.
