    slow feed

    the chipper/shredder runs good but is hard to feed leaves through the small hopper. any suggestions?

    Seems to work: If wood is dry will kick it back at you. If you had some way to feed the wood slowly it wood chip 3 inch pieces otherwise it will stall the motor. Smaller 1-1.5 pieces shoot right through don't hang on to tight.

    Excellent value for money

    The wood chipper arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The chipper starts easy and runs without issues. The 7hp motor if adequate for smaller wood, but as you get into the hard wood, it does lug and requires some effort to slowly insert the wood so as not to stall the engine. With practice it seems to operate fine.

    Super Handy GUO074 Mini Wood Chipper Shredder

    Came packaged in a nice box, it was easy to assemble. Once oil and gas were filled it started right up and runs great. This unit is advertised as a 3” shredder chipper. That is not going to happen. To be fair I was chipping 8 month old mesquite, so fairly dry. Anything larger than 1 1/2” would stall the unit. I also have rotated the chipping blades after about 6 hours of chipping. But I expected this. If you stay under 1 1/2” this unit is a workhorse. I am guessing but I would say I have 2 yards of chipped product. That is a lot of branches that has gone thru. If you have anything larger than 1 1/2” cut it into firewood.

    For the price I am not sure it competitive models would do any better. Would I buy again knowing what I know and the price point? Yes.
