    workmanship was less than stellar side rails that guide the wood to the v shaped splitter unit, the left one came off as the bolt holding it was not only too short for the job but broke in half also and on the other side the bolt came lose and i had to stop to tighten it. the lever you push down to push the wood forward has a rubber piece that is screwed onto the lever to protect your hand when you push it down, that fell off and i had a bitch of a time to screw it back on. i would not reccomend

    I was surprised that I had some 12 and 14 inch logs to split from my Pinetree and it worked very well except for the ones that had knots in them would buy again

    Log time

    This splitter is my husband's new toy. We have had a couple of non start but it was placement of log. Splitter is the greatest help since we put in a wood burning stove to help heat our home.when this one wears out I'll just get another one.     The thing is so handy. Easy to move around, throw in the back of the truck and go! Does everything I need it to do. Do wish the lever was on the side so the machine could stand on end.

    This splitter works amazing. I can't believe it splits some of the stuff I've put on it, hickory, red oak and more. I'm talking about stuff I could barely pick up. For what I need it's perfect, compact and no assembly required. Just put two wheels on and it was ready to go, even came with oil already in it. Couldn't have been any easier!
