The US Stove US1261E heater meets the 2020 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's crib wood emission limits for woodheaters sold after May 15, 2020. Under specific EPA test conditions burning Douglas Fir dimensional lumber this heater has been shown to deliver heat at a rate of 28,786 to 33,557 Btu/hr. This heater achieved a particulate emissions rate of 1.9 g/hr when tested to method ASTM E2780-10 single Burn Rate Appendix (*and an efficiency of 68%.).
