Customer Reviews
I think I'd best update my experience with the Vevor 800 watt Heavy Duty Mobility Scooter. At just a touch over two months since freeing the little thing from its shipping cage. About that I will reiterate that freeing it from shipping box was a nasty task. Friends with strength and a Sawzall would be a real asset. That being said I'll add that once turned loose in the world there was nearly no assembly required. A few minor items and plug it in to charge.
I have now ridden 167 miles (remember to convert from its indicated kilometers! My slip stick gets a workout! Only two issues to be reported. When the eternal Aridzona rain stops I'll attend to a slight need for front suspension alignment. I bought a 25 millimeter wrench. And I'm going to see what a slight suspension sound is from. No worries. It seems minor.
Quite a lot of those 167 miles have been in testing. Much of the testing has been hill climbing, the other range. Longest out and back has been 20 miles over hilly terrain. No problem. We got back with electrons to spare. As little Scootamer and I approached a hellish hill I had a Plan B to use the mechanical brakes to back slowly down the hill. No need. Scootamer attacked the hill viciously and left the small mountain quivering with fear. The brakes are great, and if I set the speed control to One I'll have no need for either discs nor drums. I'll be riding the dynamics all the way down (Riding the dynamics is a railroad term. The traction motors switch to generate to create braking. Scootamer has dynamic regenerative braking and holds speed on down inclines whilst pushing electricity into the batteries. Saves the mechanical brakes and extends range. No unearthly whine like a big EMD slowing half a mile of freight though.
The speed which this scooter is capable of is amazing. And yes it can deal with dirt roads.
Three thumbs - wait a minute there - up for Scootamer and Vevor and Factory Pure!
Okay. The shipping box was a disaster. But last week the Flying Spaghetti Monster looked down on me and the scooter with pity. I took trash out to the bin and found my scootamer outside its steel bar hotel! Since then I've placed it into service and have an admittedly short term assessment.
Build Quality. It seems very well built indeed. A friend of mine has a few non Vevor mobility scooters. My Vevor makes them seem to like.
Performance. It is easy to operate. It is bloody fast! Fifteen miles per hour on a mobility scooter is hauling the mail. It's range is surprisingly good. All the instruments seem accurate. And then, hills. There are several in my area. Today's test took scootamer and me down and then back up a nasty hill. I've pushed several bicycles up that hill but have never been able to pedal one up it. Once, in ambient temperature of a bit above one hunnert farenheits I literally stopped approximately every twenty to thirty feet to rest several mins in the shade of bloody mesquite! Vevor and I came down that hill using automatic speed control and the dynamic regen put several volts back in the battery. On the way up I started in speed one, no trouble. Speed two had snappy acceleration from about three miles per hour to about seven and a half, whilst ascending the hill of doom. Okay, speed three. We're clear for about 15.5 mph. Accelerating from about 7.5 while ascending the most evil hill. Didn't reach the full 25kph as we were still accelerating, through 23 as we crested the hill! Poor hill. Vevor brutalized it.
We left home at about 65volts and with speeds and about 7 miles total distance and several hills, got back home showing 61 volts... Still about one volt above the nominal 60.
I love it! But, be sure to have assistance is freeing it from its shipping box; rent a gorilla from the circus. And the user manual can be all confusal when it's time to charge it, especially the first time. The charging port is on the front surface below the seat. The instructions on it are correct.
I'm hoping that scootamer lasts me a long time. I like it. And Factory Pure rocks. Not rock like Taylor Swift. Rock like Iron Butterfly. I hope I didn't mistype very often.

It's a fast and powerful scooter,it won't fit on my scooter rack
very good
I love the scooter, due to I can go all the places that i could not go before. The scooter I had before, only go 3 miles on a charge, and 8 mph, now I can go 40 miles,m and 15 mph.
