Strong machine! Great price! Fast deliver!
Thanks
The 4 rating is because almost every piece of equipment has an issue. In this case the tow hitch was not to my standard. I fabricated
one that attaches to the rear axle, has a crank jack stand and an adapter to fit a ball hitch. I have been talking with Mr. Thomas and
Manny at Yardbeast, and they have been more than helpful so I will give them a 5 for customer service. The machine does exactly what
it is designed to do. It will easily eat a 3.5" piece of wood. As for shredding, it makes fine material, but as with most shredders you need to
trim the branches a little. Once it grabs the material it is gone so be careful. With proper care this Chipper/Shredder should last a long time.
If anyone has a question you can contact me at helicopterlift@msn.com as time will tell how a piece of equipment holds up. For now I am
satisfied with my purchase.
After writing my review FactoryPure emailed me and apologized for what transpired, which I accept. As a previous small business owner I do understand how
complicated it can be dealing with many different sources. With the issue of Covid-19 disrupting everything, I think it is very important on the customer's part
to make sure on the availability of a product if you are on a time schedule before ordering. To assume anything during this period can cause disappointment as
I just experienced. I am looking forward to receiving this product from the research I have done, and will post a report on my findings sometime in mid November.
I will be running many different types of wood through this chipper/spreader from wet to dry, oak, pine, alder and tamarack. Hopefully it will ship on the 21st and
arrive in good shape within a week. Its a long trip from Florida to Oregon.
In ordering a Yardbeast 2090 Chipper that I needed to do a project on a time-line I used FactoryPure as their
ad showed it was in stock and would ship the next day if ordered by 12PM EST. I ordered this on Oct 8th and it
is now the 16th. After an email and a call to FactoryPure (in which they were very polite) I decided to call Yardbeast.
It seems they did not have any in stock and they would be receiving them and be shipping out on the 21st. There
ad was misleading to say the least and has disrupted my scheduling which was important as other people were involved.
Lets say I just learned a lesson and will go directly to the vendor in the future. If they would have told me it was back ordered
I would have gotten another chipper that could be shipped on schedule. Disappointed
