Product Overview
The Yescom 5-gallon vacuum chamber is designed for degassing urethanes, silicone and epoxies. Its stainless steel chamber resists rust and corrosion, while a tempered glass lid and chemical-resistant silicone gasket provide a sealed enclosure. Rated for a maximum vacuum of 29 inHg at sea level, it includes a glycerin-filled industrial gauge that resists vibration to help maintain accurate readings. With the shutoff valve closed and the vacuum pump off, the chamber can maintain a high vacuum for several hours, with specified leakage of less than 2.5 inHg over 24 hours. This chamber is not compatible with stabilization resin, alcohol, ethanol, acetone or acrylic-based monomers or polymers; clean the lid only with soapy water.
