I purchased a champion generator which was a refurbished unit and now it is leaking oil. Rght now I am dissatisfied.

I was looking for a generator when the last storm hit in NJ. I knew it was to late for a local purchase so I checked online and found factory pure. I saw the remanufactured Champions and decided to research. I had owned a champion prior but really only used it for a short amount of time. It performed as expected and had great features.
I decided to give it a go. This time I wanted the duel fuel. I saw the 9000 watt peak power and did my research and it was the one for me.
The unit came in 1 day! The driver brought it into my garage on the pallet. I built it right away. (Wheels)
I started it using my propane tank and it started as soon as the air was purged out of the line. I ordered my transfer switch and I installed it later that week when in arrived. 1 purchased a 10 circuit switch that would power almost by whole house minus the central air. This is not hard since all my lights are LED. I then did the final testing. The unit is great! It powered it all and is not even at 1/2 load with all the lights on and the microwave and washing machine running. The only thing I did notice is that it had 54 hours not less than 50 as promised. But as I said it looked like new.
I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend Factory Pure. I already have!
Our generator was delivered over a hour earlier than scheduled and we were not home. All I had to do was call the scheduling office (they had left me a message) and they verified he was too early and sent him back without a charge. He put the generator on our carport for us. It was easy to assemble (wheels and handle only because it was refurbished). After connecting a propane tank it started up immediately and ran well. As big as it is it maneuvers easily using the wheels and handle. Fortunately we have not had to use it but so far so good.

Having back-up power source with dual fuel option is how I plan to be set up to survive possible power outages as frequently occur in this area, either due to severe weather conditions or dangerous drivers taking out power lines. Bring it on, we are Champions and will endure.
