This was a gift for my dad. He has always brought Dewalt products. Its a brand that he trust. It works great. We have only had it about a month and have ran it a couple of times but so far no issues.
I was a little scared to buy it at first but when it arrived I was extremely impressed runs my whole camp if I kill everything 220v but still love it
I haven't needed to use it yet but I did start it up to test it and it seems to work well. Shipping and arrival went well also.
Finally got to fire up the Dewalt 8000 watt generator today. I let it warm up for a few minutes, then connected my air compressor and gave the gen a little load. Couldn't even hear any change in the generator engine when the compressor fired up.
I installed a generator connection at the house breaker panel so when needed, connecting the unit will be quick and easy. I think next weekend ill connect the generator to the hoise and see how it does. I think its going to do fine.
The refurbished Dewalt came in good shape, packaged like a brand new unit. Very minor signs of previous use. Unfortunately, no hour meter so can't tell how much it was run by the original purchaser.
For the price, and given the great service and quick delivery especially during a difficult time, this generator is a great buy. I feel good knowing im ready next time the power goes out, and i know it will sometime.
