Great generator. Worked exactly as intended.
Shipping left a lot to be desired. Took longer than expected after shipping from Generac and arriving at in-state shipper destination. Waited days to receive a call from shipper to schedule delivery then wasted an entire day waiting for it to arrive per scheduled appointment, only to find out it was never loaded on truck that day (with no explanation). Upon calling was told "It will probably go out tomorrow!?!" It did, but entire shipping process could have been much smoother.

We bought the PM 7500. I was pulling into my driveway when I happened to see Dayton Freight delivering it to the wrong house. I immediately called Dayton Freight who contacted the driver. The driver went back to the wrong house, put the generator on a dolly and carted it down the sidewalk to the correct house. Driver took it all the way into the garage. The generator was nicely packed and all pieces/parts were included. Not sure what would have happened if I had not seen the Dayton Freight truck. The other house was unoccupied.
However, when we tried assembling, the axel washers did not lay flat against the bracket because of the weld. So, we were not able to insert the screw. My husband had to grind a flat spot on the outside diameter of the washers so they would lay flat. Then we could insert the screw. If someone did not have a grinder not sure what they would do. This is the reason for the 4 star rating.
Otherwise, it went together ok.
We have not used it yet so cannot comment on that part. Hope it lives up to its name.

PM7500

I ordered the PM7500 from Factory Pure. I couldn’t believe the price plus the free shipping. It was hassle free and the phone representatives were very knowledgeable and helpful. When it was delivered it came on a pallet to my front door. Everything went great. I would definitely recommend this company for your generator needs.
