I ordered the generator directly from FactoryPure as I already had my gas company and an electrician lined up to perform the install.
My first issues was with the freight company who called to schedule the delivery on a Friday between 1 and 5.
Being a reasonable person, I waited until 6:00 to make a call and find out where they were. It turns out, the driver decided it had become to late in the day to make the trip to my house but not to tell anyone. As I'm sitting at home with family waiting to go to dinner.
OK so after all that was worked out, the unit got delivered with the concrete pad that Monday in a torrential downpour.
Now, the generator is sided in light aluminum panels and cased on a pallet in large cardboard box. All good so far until I mention that some genius somewhere though it was a good idea to ship the 200 lb concrete slab on TOP of the generator.
Maybe, maybe under normal conditions, that could have been OK, there is a little structure inside the cardboard boxing.
BUT, when it's pouring rain out, that cardboard becomes mush about 3 seconds after taking it off the truck.
Long story short, thankfully somehow after the pad sliding off and hanging off the front of the generator, nothing was actually damaged.
SO someone, somewhere in the process needs to take some engineering classes or something because that's just insanity.
FactoryPure folks are responsive and helpful with support requests and the actual pre sales and deal making were seamless.
So good company to work with, they just need to work out logistics of delivering the product.
