Came needing assembly and I cannot do it because it is extremely heavy and I am unable to lift the thing myself. Called a supposed Generac service company (per Generac's website) and they only will help if I can get it to their shop. They do not service anything that requires them to go to a person's home. Well, that's no good to me. So, it is sitting, bolted to the crate it came in until I can find someone to help me lift it and get the wheels etc on. Otherwise, it looks pretty good sitting there.
Factory Pure five stars
Delivery company one star
They were scheduled to deliver on a Wednesday, failed to do so. No communication from them and they wouldn’t pick up the phone. After numerous calls and emails to them they finally delivered on Friday of the same week.
Right out of crate didn’t work. Spent too much time trying to find authoized service company to see if can be repaired
Ordered right as I was going on vacation so asked to push back shipping a few days. Shipping company called as I was returning from vacation verifying delivery date. Couldn’t have worked out better. Everything looked great when it arrived on the pallet. Requires a few minutes of set up and I was up and running. Have only ran for an hour testing it, but everything worked beautifully. ( Generac please work on set up directions as they are a little hard to understand)
Really easy set up on delivery. I am 71 years old and had no trouble assembling the few things required by myself. It started quickly after set-up. I have not used it yet for its purpose mainly to back up for Florida storm power outages. MY A/C man said it will power it fine, my electrician is not so confident. A little more involved than I anticipated. Some of the ancillary items such as a transfer fuel tank and pump are in short supply. Others have become expensive in this economy such as the electric cord and inlet box for my panel. None of that of course being the fault of the generator.
