    Portable generators are a welcome addition to many activities at home, at work, and away. In an emergency, portable generators can provide critical backup power.     Receptacles are protected by circuit breakers to protect cords and prevent overloading. The 50-amp, 120/240 volt receptacle is protected by a toggle-type circuit breaker. All other AC receptacles have push-button type breakers. The 12-Volt DC charging outlet is current limited to 10 amperes. 30-Amp and 50-Amp receptacles require the correct generator cables for use (sold separately). 

     

    A portable generator needs to be ready for use at all times. Generac added maintenance reminders right on the hour meter, and the convenient fuel gauge provides at-a-glance fuel monitoring. Many portable models have controls located in inconvenient locations, making it difficult to access them quickly, especially in the dark.     Great machine great service

    Ordered in the middle of Hurricane Laura. It shipped immediately and was delivered a day early. Everything was in perfect condition with .1 hours on the meter. Assembled, gased it up and put it into service immediately. Will definitely try and order from these guys again.

    Ran whole house well.

    I ordered the Generac GP17500E A few months ago and did a 1 hour full load test following assembly and checks and it performed very well. I had held off on this review waiting on mother nature to give me a true test. We are thankful we did not have to use the generator but we pray for those who have had and continue to struggle with mother nature's wrath. As I said I did a 1 hour load, 50 amp line to box (consisting or 4 ton a.c., 3 ton a/c, 80 gal hot water heater, range, stove top, microwave, dishwashers, washer and dryer, lights for a 5 bed, 3 bath house. I also ran a 30 amp line with 50 amp conversation plug to dryer plug in guest house which allowed me to run my refrigerator-frezer and a few lights in guest house.
    I have been running the generator 30 min/monthly with no load since then.
    Absolutly no issues.

    Busted Equipment

    Bought a Generac generator for my new food trailer - less than an hour run time if failed - Went to this company for assistance because Generac isn't sending parts fast enough which I've been without my generator for 2 plus months now. I didn't receive any support from them what so ever so apparently this company doesn't stand behind what it sells.
