A hard working machine

Purchased this commercial unit because it was rated to de-humidify a space more than 2200sqft. My basement is around 1750sqft. Started at 98%RH and now after 3 weeks of continuous running its down to 53%RH. Pulling 3-4 gallons of water a day. That's alot of water!! So I'm happy with what its doing, but I'm worried its not really capable of handling 1750sqft of moist space. I'm waiting to see how much effort it takes for it to maintain 50%RH once it gets to that target.
