Got my Soleus and it was an easy install. I love the saddle design as it hugs your window sill. I have central air but live in a 2 story home. In order to keep the bedroom cool enough I would need to keep the thermostat set low. Now my downstairs is comfortable and so is my bedroom at night. Love it!
I am very pleased with the easy of installing the units, the look outside and inside the house, less stress on the window sash, and the cooling performance.
We have an upstairs room overlooking the lake we live on. Three air conditioning techs could not cool it with our current system and adding a second unit was not cost effective. This unit has surpassed any expectations and has only been running o low! Our current “feels like” temp of 99. And we still have our view!
Rating of 5 for FactoryPure. The unit itself is a 1 rating as unfortunately for us, the 8000 btu unit did not work, even though we did everything right to install it. We even contacted Soleus for advice. We had to get Soleus confirmation for FactoryPure that it was a defective unit, and after that everything went smoothly with our return and we are now in the process of getting a refund. FactoryPure was easy to work with, and Tania and the rest of the FactoryPure team were responsive and helpful. Just a bad unit. Very disappointed.
This is an air conditioner that has finally encompassed everything I could ever want. No framework needed outside the house, no drains ( like portable air conditioners) that need attention everyday or sometimes hourly in humid climate. It has a great selection of settings, a timer, Wi-Fi connection, and above all a quiet mode! I want to buy two more of these units! I highly recommend this, don't even consider buying another portable air conditioner, buy this!
