Crafted with narrow spaces in mind, it boasts a width of only 22.5 inches. Typically capable of retaining compost for the entire season, extraction is only necessary in the Spring. Specifically designed for compatibility with Ultra Low Flush toilets (purchased separately), it provides an efficient composting solution for environmentally conscious users.

- The Centrex 1000 central composting system is ideal for those who have electricity and want a unit for a light seasonal application.
- In light to medium seasonal use the Centrex 1000 is typically able to hold compost for the full season, requiring extraction only in the Spring.
- The Centrex 1000 is equipped with a 260 watt heater housed in a sealed compartment beneath the unit, along with the standard Sun-Mar 35 watt turbo fan and 2-inch vent stack, ensuring odorless operation.
- Listed capacities refer to the amount of people, on average, using the unit per day. Do not pick a unit that is below your capacity. Seasonal/Vacation Use: 5 adults or families of 7.
- All Centrex 1000 systems are supplied with a 1 inch drain hose which should be connected to the 1 inch drain at the bottom left of the unit.
- Electricity must be connected while the unit is in use for proper operation.
- All Sun-Mar products must be properly vented per the guidelines present in the unit’s owner’s manual.
- The Centrex 1000 system is designed for use with the Ultra Low Flush toilets (purchased separately).
- This system can be converted to an AC/DC system using the AC/DC kit (purchased separately).
