Giving it 4 stars because the blower really is pretty weak and doesn't seem to do much (if anything). However, I installed this insert a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it. It fit perfectly into my shallow fireplace and with my slightly unconventional installation. It does best with logs <16in. It puts out a decent amount of heat, and is adequate to supplement our forced air heating for the main floor of our house (main living area is around 700 sq ft). I would not use this as a sole heat source for an entire house unless the house was very small. Because the firebox is so small, we have to add wood pretty often, and I haven't found a way to get it to slow burn through the whole night, I think we get maybe 4 hrs max with the air intake all the way down. If your expectations are right, this is a good little stove. FactoryPure was excellent, fast processing and shipping. I had the insert sitting in my driveway within a week of ordering it.
The stove insert was a breeze to set up and you all where great people to work with thank you !!!
