Customer Reviews
My previous comment I was frustrated by the machine not working and the instructions that are not 100% accurate.
After going to the Comfortbilt site, I managed to find additional diagnostic aids and narrowed it down to a faulty connection at the motherboard.
I contacted FactoryPure, Comfortbilt Sales, and Comfortbilt Tech Support. I was not left hanging.
When I spoke to Jonathan at CB, I walked him through my diagnostic and he ok'd me to open the Motherboard to check the connections. Sure enough, a wire had a little too much tension and feed up easily.
The Diagnostic Screen and Stove Information screens are great.
I intend to return after this season to update this winter's performance.
This isn't my first rodeo with stoves and motors and electrics.
I'll start off by saying that my machine asks me for a password that is not eluded to in the manual. The manual says I need to look for a sensor function that the machines self diagnostic does not offer.
At this point, I'm calling this junk. I had better luck with the $250 unit I bought from West Virginia last winter. I though I was making my life easier by buying a quality unit instead of replacing fans and such, but wouldn't you know.
